Activities: Blueberry Orchard and artist studios (wood block prints and textile art). Also nut & lime trees, a few alpacas & sheep. Help with maintaining the blueberry area and nut tree orchard, weeding, housework and stock work.
Comments: Couple from Germany - no children, 2 lovely dogs. We speak German & English. We are vegetarians, but can provide other food. Helpers have own room & entrance; self contained flat in peak season. *stay 1 week off peak & 3 week or more during picking time. Collect from bus at Levin (2 km). Beach 5 min & Tararua Ranges 5 min.
Hobbies: Arts, crafts & books.

Activities: Hobby farm: sheep or steers. Bed and breakfast although currently not operating. One sheep dog.
Comments: Plenty of good standard rooms, including a separate games room - pool table etc. Lots of open fires. My passion is cooking so plenty of good food. Beach short drive, tramping close by.
Hobbies: Table tennis, pool, wine appreciation, cooking.

Activities: Organic poultry farm with a big vegetable garden and other animals. Collect eggs and feed hens, maintain the sheds, weeding gardens, help with the household. We try hard to be self sufficient.
Comments: 3 children under 7 years, others visit occasionally. Own room to share with friends but share bathroom and rest of house with us. Close to Levin, can pick up from there.
Hobbies: Family life, hockey, cooking, gardening, soccer and making new friends.

Comments: Well travelled 60's young-at-heart couple. Own room & bathroom (share if more than 1 helper.) Beach 10 min. Can pick up at Otaki bus depot (5 min) or Paraparaumu railway station. Wellington 1 hr.

Activities: Organic blueberry farm (permaculture, pick your own), Mexican food prep (Mexican wholefoods cafe and local markets), chooks, sheep, geese, rabbits, emus, earth building projects. Culinary work, garden, farm work depending on preference and skills.
Comments: Mexican family (couple, primary aged child plus Davids mother). Mandi is farm manager and a lactation consultant - clients sometimes come to the farm for help. Near river, swimming hole and Wellington attractions (40 min by train). Mountain bike available for local trail, beautiful hiking nearby. Stay in a cozy campervan or garage apartment in the warmer months.
Hobbies: Gardening, landscaping, painting, walking, horse riding, reading, soccer, cooking, drawing, dancing.
