Comments: Within city boundary, 6 km to CBD. We have 4 pre-teen aged children. Wife is a nurse & husband works from home (management consultant. Stay in newly constructed loft for accommodation separate from the main house. Pick up from bus and train.
Hobbies: The property, the children and their school, Scottish Country dancing & garden railways.

Activities: Developing property into a sustainably run game ranch for hunting tourisim. We have deer, goats, pigs, wild rams etc. Help with scrub cutting, fire wood, weed control, fencing, general building tasks and the odd bit of pest control.
Comments: Young couple with 2 preschool children. We would like to expose our familly to new experiences and cultures. Stay in double room or sleepout (under construction). Wild back country experience, plenty bush nearby. Pick up from Wanganui 1 hr away. Enjoy the finer things in life: a feed of wild meat & home brews on the porch or by the fire.
Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, outdoors.

Activities: Lifestyle block. Help with picking feijoas, gardening, housework, house repairs, feeding chooks & attending to sheep.
Comments: Couple with no children. Property near Wanganui, can pick up from bus in town. Visitors have own room (1 double and 1 small twin), share bathroom. Non-smokers, non-vegetarians.
Hobbies: Cooking & nature.

Activities: Holiday park. Assist with maintenance of the park, gardening and lawns, waterblasting, insect and weed control.
Comments: We have 2 primary aged children. Stay in your own room and share a 3 bedroom house. Near lakes, gardens, park and the river in Wanganui (a victorian town). We take people kayaking, possum hunting.
Hobbies: Boating, fishing and childrens sport.

Activities: Not a farm, in centre of city. General house cleaning and gardening.
Comments: I live alone with 3 teenage children. Quiet neighbourhood. Can pick up from bus or airport. Also Palmerston North for cost of fuel. Tutor at the local polytechnic at the Environmental Education Campus. Near organic farms, gardens, parks, wildlife reserves and National Parks.
Hobbies: Landscape design, eco tourism, conservation and learning about foreign cultures.
